Our Doctors

Dr. Karen Sherman

Founder of Oak View Animal Clinic

Dr. Sherman was raised in Pineville, MO and received her Animal Science Degree at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University, School of Veterinary Medicine. She has lived in Pea Ridge since 1984 and has two Irish Wolfhounds named Lenny and Siobhan, a cat named Bizzee, as well as beef cattle.

Along with managing the business, Dr. Sherman is active in many local organizations, veterinary organizations, and has served as the President of the Arkansas Veterinary Medication Association Board. Her hobbies include swimming, walking her dogs, quilting, and helping people with personal needs.

Dr. Keturah Ollie-Hayes

Veterinarian

Dr. Keturah was born and raised in Tchula, MS. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Tougaloo College in 2018 before going on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University in 2022. Her interests include surgery, behavior, and gastrointestinal diseases.

While not at the clinic, Dr. Keturah enjoys reading, crafting, and going to museums. She can’t wait to experience all that beautiful NWA has to offer with her two dogs, Action and Prada

Dr. Tiffany Pulliam

Veterinarian

Dr. Pulliam was raised in Fort Smith, AR. She joined the Oak View family after graduating veterinary school in 2023.She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from the University of Arkansas in Fort Smith and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Her interests include surgery and working through internal medicine cases.Dr. Pulliam enjoys spending time with her husband, Dalton, her Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Des, and her tortie cat named Kit. Her hobbies include kayaking, fishing, hiking, dining out, and visiting with family and friends.

Dr. Claire Linker

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Claire Linker joined the team in July 2025. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Texas Tech University. Dr. Linker is certified in Fear Free practices, AVMA Veterinary First Response, and RECOVER CPR. She has a special interest in behavior, dentistry, internal medicine, radiology, and client communication. Originally from Dripping Springs, TX, Dr. Linker is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care tailored to each pet. Outside the clinic, she enjoys reading fiction and fantasy, crafting, exploring local trails, and staying active at the gym. She shares her home with a playful shepherd mix named Ranger and a cat named Kitty who loves to play fetch.

Emma H.

Veterinary Nurse Assistant

Emma was raised in Southern California. We are so glad she joined oak View Animal Clinic as she has a passion for working with animals and making a difference in peoples lives. Emma has a dog named Luna and a cat named Bud. Emma likes to fish, paint, and go on hikes with with her dog.

Terziha C.

Veterinary Nurse Assistant

Terziha grew up in the local area of Garfield, AR.  She grew up around animals and currently has chickens, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and a bearded dragon named Beanz. Terziha started with Oak View Animal Clinic with the hospitality team and has moved into the role of Veterinary Nurse Assistant. She enjoys fishing, painting, and working on vehicles.

Amber

Veterinary Nurse Assistant

Amber is originally from Bakersfield California and has been in veterinary medicine for over a decade. Her house boasts an impressive menagerie of 4-legged friends, with her and her husband having 2 ferrets (Romeo & Sugar Daddy), 4 dogs (Moonpies, BlackJack, Piper & Sophia), 2 cats (Kosmo & Jasper) and a bearded dragon (Phoenix).

Christie C.

Lead Animal Care Specialist

Christie grew up in Norfolk, AR.  She  joined Oak View Animal Clinic in 2018. She leads our Hospitality Team with compassion for the pets in their care. Christy treats every boarding pet like she does her own, and creates special bonds with them and their owners. Christy has a cat, dogs, and horses. In her spare time she likes to paint, swim, fish, and float on the river.

Kaitlyn C.

Client Care Coordinator

Kaitlyn joined Oak View Animal Clinic in June 2023 after relocating to Arkansas from Northeast Oklahoma. She loves greeting our clients and their pets as they walk through the front door. Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her two daughters and their mini-Golden Doodle, Walker. She also enjoys hiking, playing golf and reading.
